We are afraid of the wrong things

We are afraid of the wrong things? Are we really? I am legitimately afraid of certain things...like the dark and small spaces. But I think we as humans tend to also be afraid of the wrong things, which even has a control on the way we live.

You know when you getting done to go somewhere, you end up changing your outfit over and over Why? So that you can look better? But for who? We are so afraid of what people are going to say and that they will judge us, but in fact they barley even notice what we wear. And that’s a fact.

We are so afraid to die Why? Because we know that the life that we are leading is not what God approves of. If we lived the right way we should want to die as soon as possible as to avoid being misled onto the wrong path. Be more afraid of how you live your life.

We are so afraid of failure that we actually end up crippling ourselves by putting negative thoughts in our head, a mere self fulfilling prophesy. We will succeed, I say.

We are so afraid to be ourselves that we all living in this pretend world. We are all great its time that you believe it to.

So the lesson in all of this is, stop being afraid of the wrong things and live a real life with legitimate fears like the dark and small spaces.

  1. I totally agree with this pierce, this world has long filled us with what should be regarded as the right way to act, not taking into account the individual interest of everyone. Maybe in this century with all the talk about ones true identity, we would not be afraid of the wrong things and start to live our lives in a manner that is not scared to try on new things.

  2. I think people are afraid of the truth. The panic we go through every time we change a outfit because we are afraid we don't look good or the numerous negative thoughts we place in our heads that freaks us out so much more that we end up being afraid of so many more things that has nothing to do with the first issue.

Being afraid to be yourself is something that is changing and people are becoming more individual in this pretend world as you say.We are human and we will have fears of the dark and being in a crowded room with people we don't know, but its time for us to live life, be who we are and make a change.

  3. Ridhwaana, you have said it all. Fear is in charge of our live, we are not in charge. Maybe we must start working, and change it around, so that fear can be afraid of us. We must have more faith in ourselves
